Allen Clendaniel
Allen’s practice focuses on education law, litigation, labor and employment, and corporate law. His litigation experience includes civil and criminal trials, appellate work, and administrative proceedings. Allen represents many Alaskan school districts and specializes in legal issues specific to education. He also represents Alaska businesses with their corporate, labor, and employment needs.
Allen began practicing law in Alaska in 2005. A proud graduate of West Anchorage High School, Allen left Alaska for college and law school. After graduating in the top ten percent of his class at Stanford Law School, he quickly returned home to Alaska and began his career as a law clerk in Fairbanks for the late Judge Andrew J. Kleinfeld of the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. He has been in private practice in Alaska since. Allen believes in Alaska, its businesses, entrepreneurs, and school districts. Alaska is Allen’ s home and he is committed to providing exceptional legal services to his Alaskan clients.
Allen is active in the Anchorage tennis community. He has coached the Bartlett High School tennis team since 2013. He also serves on the United States Tennis Association Pacific Northwest Section Board of Directors. In his spare time, Allen enjoys hiking in the Chugach Mountains, playing tennis, and rooting for his beloved Seattle Mariners.
